A Message to our Clients Concerning COVID-19 Impact on ISM Operations
We have closed the physical Northshore offices to allow our employees to safely shelter-at-home with their families; we hope it is the same for all of our clients and their families.
All of our staff are successfully and securely working from home. Our Business Continuity Plan (BCP) is designed for the staff to take company-secured laptops or desktop equipment home and continue to work through our secure firewalls in the cloud; so, other than staff being physical located elsewhere, nothing has changed, communications and processes will appear seamless. The audit staff will continue to complete review work remotely and host question & answer sessions telephonically; the “in-house” technical claim staff will continue to receive and process claims; and our subrogation subsidiary, International Subrogation Management, will continue to receive, investigate and make claim settlements. Corporately, we host at least weekly Management and Team meetings via conference calls, using those platforms, emails and telephone calls to disseminate information to staff. We are pleased that there has been no interruption of service and this speaks to the well thought out BCP, the dedication of our staff and the support of our clients.
The App for our cloud-based phone system has been deployed as part of the BCP; calls and messages are routed to employee’s cell phones under the Northshore banner, with a simultaneous emailed notice to the respective employee that a call was received.
We assure you that regardless of the additional preventive measures that may be implemented by our elected officials in response to this evolving global health crisis, we have taken the necessary steps for our staff to remain accessible and available to you. Your assignments will be worked on; your emails will be responded to; and your calls will be answered as we continue to work to provide you with the best service possible under these difficult circumstances.
